Spark the Flames
The Ivy Asher I loved from The Bone Witch is back. No more harem, no seven mates, but an intriguing story of dragons instead.

Highlights
I truly highlight Asherās storytelling in this book. Iām thrilled she went to write a story in the lines of her The Osseous Chronicles, but with more spice. You have an intriguing plot, something dark building in the background and a burning coupleājust a couple, no more lovers involved!
ā
I also want to mention two ideas Ivy introduced here that I found quite unique: the types of bonds she envisioned between characters and how she used a specific type of magic/power for pleasure. Kudos!
What to Expect
- Enemies to lovers
- Sexual and possessive tension
- Spice
- Torture
- Secrets, plots and curses
- Tough FMC
- Dragons as main characters
š
Itās curious her treatment of dragons isnāt exactly like theyāre shifters aloneāmeaning a fae who can shift into an animalābut more like they have a more humanoid form (drake). Even their armors when in drake form are part of their skin.
What I Missed
- Iām just going to say that there were a lot of names and terms, and it was a bit confusing to keep up sometimes.
