🎥 In a Snapshot
The grand finale of Letters of Enchantment is here!
Highlights
The writing style, its beautiful ornamental phrasing, transported you back to some historical fiction of war time or one of the classics of all. It suited this story, its emotional and moving content, its characters journeys and all the conflicts within.
What to Expect
- Magical creatures
- Gods vs humans
- Moral compasses
- Right vs wrong
- Devastation, violence and death
- No spice
- Magical romantic connection
- Long-distance romance
- Strong characters
Special Mention
Some might find it had a slow pace. It was denser to read, for sure. It reminded me reading Anne Rice; you don’t want to put it away, but you also need a break from it (in a good way). No complaints here. The main and supporting characters did their jobs. The plot was intriguing, tense and with enough action. The romance and all the heartbreaking emotional content brought me back to The Things We Leave Unfinished by Rebecca Yarros. All in all, I highly recommend it.
