Review

Lady of the Lake (Fey Spy Academy #3)

🔗Author: C.N. Crawford & Alex Rivers

This incredible series and its reinterpretation of King Arthur’s legend has finally come to an end. Thanks to the authors for the ARC!

Highlights

This is the most accomplished work from these authors. The whole series was very cohesive, full of intrigue, with great romantic expectations and divine sexual tension. There were some minor details in this third book, but it delivered. It was a satisfactory conclusion to the series.

📖
And apparently, we’ll see some spin-offs in the future!

What to Expect

  • Enemies to lovers
  • A bit of spice
  • Secrets, lies and betrayal
  • Misleading appearances
  • Battles, death and torture
  • Fantastical creatures

What I Missed

  • I wished Nia’s powers as the Lady of the Lake would have been more impressive. I haven’t fully grasped this role in this ‘more modern’ time of Nia.
  • There was one enemy plot resolution that wasn’t ironclad conclusive. So, I wished my imagination could have gotten this closure; unless we’ll see something of this in the future spin-offs.
  • I was surprised this book was more plot-focused than romance-focused. And even though it’s totally fine, I wanted more of that tension and romance between the main characters.
THE END
