So, if you like spicy romance with some darkness, male possessiveness and a sort of submission/dominant relationship, then Skye Warren is your choice. And this time, I bring her latest series Tanglewood University

In here, you’ll find forbidden love between a professor and his student. There’s a lot of sexual tension, rough sex and very sensitive content. But that’s not all, our characters are entangled in a dangerous network of Shakespearean lovers hidden under the cover of a secret society with power even over the city itself. Mystery, life threatening events and a lot of passion. This is a trilogy with two books already released and the conclusion coming in 2025.

Now moving to a genre I’m obsessed with, let me introduce you to a Danmei favorite of mine, Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation. In here, you’ll visit ancient China, its fantastical mythology, their unique magic cultivation system and the cutest male romantic relationship. As you may already know, Danmei is about that, a slow burn romance between male characters, written and targeted by and to women. This series is beautifully written, but what I love the most are the moments, the hints here and there, of their romance. I warn you though, this is another level of slow burn—narrated through five books—, so be patient.

And finally, I’ll finish this list with the Fey Spy Academy series by C.N. Crawford and Alex Rivers. I’ve read a lot of books of the former author. So, I’m very familiar with their style and writing. And I have to say, there’s something different in this series, in this reinterpretation of King Arthur’s legend… It’s in the plot, some weaving improvements that add a more solid support to the suspense. Their best work for me so far. So, if you’re interested in spies, knights, magic, fey, war, and forbidden love, this is for you. Two books out of three, and again, its finale coming up in 2025.
