Highlights

I’m invested now. I want to know how this trilogy ends.

What to Expect

  • Forced marriage
  • One bed trope
  • Sexual tension
  • Conspiracies and secret plots
  • A master and its puppeteer
  • Opposite magic
  • Potential doomsday
  • Indecisive characters
  • Politics and strategizing
  • Slow pace
  • World with steampunk-fantasy-like touches

What I Missed

  • The big cataclysmic moment felt anticlimactic. After all the waiting and preparation, it happened quickly and with a too easy fix.
  • It’s time for the characters to move past their indecision and not only state their determination, but act on it.
THE END
